8 Years In

When I think of all the kindness that God has shown to me, at the top of the list is my wife. AJ is my most perfect companion. She is my favorite person to spend time with. She shows me nothing but love; has given me three wonderful children and cares for all of us with boundless patience and energy. I always wanted to marry a godly wife. In secret I always wanted to marry a prophetess. I got both. The goodness of God is overwhelming and we're only eight years in. Thank you God and thank you AJ.

Happy Movember

I'd heard of Movember before - the month of November where men commit to growing a mustache - but never really knew what it was all about. Having since discovered it is a cancer awareness campaign for men, and having recently met someone who is currently fighting cancer, I'm now dedicated to the idea of growing a mustache.

One problem: I'm not particularly adept at facial hair growth. It just ends up creepy. Leaving my limitations aside, the reason I want to attempt this feat is that every time someone grimaces at the sight of my upper lip, or every time I see myself in a mirror I am reminded to pray for my friend Ben and his healing.

A New Twitter Account

With the new site, comes a new Twitter account. We've already got personal accounts on Twitter, and you probably already follow those, so why should you follow another​ Twitter account of ours? How To Get Where You Are Going

We're going to try a little experiment here. Normally when we teach at emanate, we teach for around an hour. That's all fine and well when it's live, but for me it's too long to sit and watch on video (especially when it's a one camera shot). So I wondered if there was a way to trim down the content to just the nuts and bolts of the message. Here's our first shot at trying this. My aim was to get the content to around 20 minutes which means if you had a lunch break you could watch this and get ​what you needed to. Depending on the success of this format we'll do more.

If you feel cheated though, you can watch the whole thing if you have an hour to spare.

Finding Father Enhanced Edition for the iPad

As well as launching the Kindle and iOS ebook versions yesterday, we also released a special version of Finding Father for the iPad. Called the "enhanced edition" it features a beautiful layout, gorgeous photos to illustrate each chapter and audio teachings from AJ.
