We want to take a moment to say a HUGE thank you to all of you who've made it possible for us to adopt our little bundle of joy, baby Sophia-Joy Charis Jones. Whether you have given, whether you have prayed for us, whether you have driven us to the airport or watched our kids or sent a note of encouragement, we from the bottom of our hearts, just wanna say we are overwhelmed,
She’s here! Meet Sophia-Joy! She’s full of peace, is eating and sleeping well and we couldn’t be happier to have her. We have to wait for court clearance before we can fly back home, but for now we’re enjoying the time the three of us have together. A huge thank you to everyone who has helped us raise support, has prayed for us and encouraged us. We literally could not have done this without your support!
Born early this morning, our little baby has arrived safe and sound. We’re not yet sure what the rules are on posting photos, so we’ll hold off on posting publicly for now, but we’re excited to announce she is here! We couldn’t be more excited!
From the "you can't make this up department" - we just got notified that the baby will be delivered in two days time! Surprise!
So that whole - the baby will be here in a couple of weeks - just got thrown out of the window! With tickets in hand, we’re on our way to pick her up!

After months of waiting, our big day has arrived! As of this morning, we are matched with a mom who will give birth mid-April! That’s in about 3 weeks at the time of writing this!
We’ve received not one but two matching grants! Our gratitude goes to Lifesong for Orphans and the Tim Tebow Foundation.
We have partnered with a 501(c)3 non-profit organization who will issue tax receipts for all donations toward our adoption costs to U.S. tax-payer.
