The teaching that has changed our lives the most is the message of the Father's love. A.W. Tozer said that what you think about God is the single most important thing in life. Jesus didn't come so that we could be saved, he came that we could be saved and restored to a place of sonship. These teaching resources are designed to help you go deeper in your walk with God and understand that you are loved by your heavenly father.

On the teachings below, I (A.J.) share about:

  • The importance of forgiveness
  • The theology of the Father Heart of God
  • Father types
  • The orphan spirit
  • Sonship
  • The tender heart of God

To the degree that you can forgive is the degree that you will be free. In this first session, I tell some of my story of growing up in an abusive alcoholic family and introduce you to my dad.

In this teaching I talk about a dream I had 7 times over two and a half years. This dream completely changed my perception of who God is. We also look at the story of the prodigal son, like you’ve probably never heard it before. This teaching also includes the Father’s Love Letter.

Your image of God is formed from a number of places. But often our relationship (or lack thereof) with our earthly father has colored how we view Father God. In this teaching, I explain different types of fathers and their resulting effects on our view of God.

Ahhh the orphan spirit. Originally introduced to us by Jack Frost, this teaching changed both of our lives. The concept is that even though we are sons of God, often we behave like that’s not true. The reason? A part of our life that doesn’t yet know the love of God. In this teaching, I explain how sons and orphans differ and how to make the switch.

Living like a son (or in my case a daughter) is the focus of our life. Jesus modeled sonship for us perfectly and we are invited to live as a son and a daughter to our heavenly father. This is the basis of all life and this is what this session is all about.

God is the kindest person you will ever meet. He is full of love, rich in mercy and he is not angry with you. Often our wounds keep us from receiving this love. In this teaching, I introduce the concept of the tender heart of God and teach us how to receive his love.

After I read through Finding Father, I wanted all my family and staff to read it and activate the principles. If you have never received a revelation of Father’s love, you will when you read this book.
