This meal is very simple but super delicious. With the ingredients listed below this will serve around 6 adults. You're going to need around 20 minutes to prep everything and then a further 25-40 minutes cooking time.
- Sauté Pan
- Chef's Knife
- Cutting board
- Baking Pan
- 2 Large pieces of Salmon (skinned)
- Goat cheese, cream cheese, or feta
Pre-heat your oven to 425 F. While you are waiting for the oven to heat up, do the following:
- Dice onions
- Mince or fine chop garlic
- Slice mushrooms
Then sauté the onions and garlic for 2-3 minutes. After they are starting to go brown, add the mushrooms and sauté for another 2 minutes.
Next, place your roasting pan horizontally in front of you and start building the dish.
Place the larger piece of salmon the bottom of the pan and spread cream cheese evenly over the salmon stopping 1 inch from the sides.
Next, evenly distribute the sautéed mixture over the cream cheese.
Lastly, add the raw spinach on top of the mixture.
Put the last piece of salmon on top and brush with olive oil or butter. You can add some herbs/spices to taste before putting it in the oven.
Bake in oven for 30-40 minutes at 425F (depending on oven and thickness of salmon). Enjoy what I hope will soon become one of your favorite ways to prepare salmon!
